Housing Benchmark offers informational tools and market figures intended to help users explore mortgage payoff scenarios and related housing metrics. The site is provided for general educational and informational purposes only.
2. Not professional advice
Nothing on Housing Benchmark is legal, tax, accounting, investment, or financial advice. Calculators and market data are estimates and illustrations. They may not reflect your actual loan, taxes, insurance, fees, lender rules, or local conditions. Always confirm figures with your lender, tax authority, or a qualified professional before making decisions.
3. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the site. The site is not intended for children under 13.
4. Acceptable use

- Misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with its operation

6. Market data and third-party sources
Median sale prices are sourced from Redfin and refreshed about every 14 days. Other figures (such as effective property tax rates) may come from county or other sources. Data can be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. We do not warrant that any figure is current or suitable for a particular purpose. See our Methodology page for details.
7. Advertising
The site may display advertisements, including through Google AdSense or similar partners. Ads are provided by third parties; we do not control their content. Your interactions with advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser.
8. Disclaimer of warranties

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100).
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Housing Benchmark and its affiliates from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the site or violation of these Terms.
